Tip #1-

Paula Deen says “It’s all about the prep. Take away the stress by doing the prep the night or day before. You will look like a star.”  Using a set of nesting bowls helps contain ingredients safely until you’re ready to start cooking the next day.

Tip #2-

“When chopping herbs, toss a little salt onto the cutting board; it will keep the herbs from flying around,” says Joanne Chang from the Flour Bakery & Café in Boston.  This trick works like a charm and eliminates the extra task of collecting herb bits that scattered across your kitchen counter.
